How do I activate two-factor authentication when logging in with a MINI ID on my smartphone?

To activate two-factor authentication on your smartphone, open the MINI App and select: "Profile" (tab) > ("SETTINGS") "VIEW ALL" > "Account data" > "Two-factor authentication" > "Activate". Enter the password for your MINI ID, enter the activation code sent to you by e-mail and confirm. If you have not received an activation code, select "Request a new one" and repeat the process.
