Can I use two-factor authentication for the security of my MINI account when logging in with a MINI ID?

Yes. You can use two-factor authentication with an activation code to further increase the security of your MINI account when logging in to the MINI portal or the MINI App with a MINI ID. To activate two-factor authentication when logging in with a MINI ID, go to the MINI website of your country, select the profile icon or your personal profile image in the status field and select: "My profile" > "Account data" > "Edit" to the right of "TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION" > "Activate" > Enter password and confirm with "NEXT". Open the e-mail with the activation code. Enter the activation code in the dialogue box on your profile page and confirm with "Activate". If you have not received an activation code, select "Request a new one" and repeat the process. Two-factor authentication is now activated. Every time you log in with a MINI ID in the future, you will receive an activation code for increased security.
