What is two-factor authentication when logging in with a MINI ID?

Two-factor authentication with activation code is a security function that requires you to enter an activation code sent to you by e-mail to confirm your identity when you log in to the MINI portal or MINI App after entering your password. This method offers additional security as it makes it considerably more difficult for unauthorised users to access your account. MINI recommends that you take this security measure to improve the general security of your account.
