How does two-factor authentication work when logging in with a MINI ID?

You can activate two-factor authentication on your profile page. Each time you log in to the MINI portal or the MINI App with your MINI ID (e-mail address or mobile phone number and password), you will be asked to enter an activation code that was sent to you by e-mail. After entering the code, you will be logged in. You can deactivate two-factor authentication on your profile page. You can also mark your device as trusted during login with two-factor authentication. After that, you no longer need to enter an activation code when you log in on the same device in the same browser.
