In your MINI with Operating System 9, you can display and operate the apps of your smartphone with Android Auto on the MINI Interaction Unit. You need a compatible Android smartphone with an active data account and 5 GHz Wi-Fi support. Wireless projection is compatible with the following Android versions:
- Smartphones with Android 11.0
- Google or Samsung smartphones with Android 10.0
- Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ or Note 8 with Android 9.0 and the "Android Auto" app from the Google Play Store
Please note: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® must be activated on your smartphone. The BMW Group has no influence on smartphone compatibility and available functions.
