One of the most important functions is the seamless integration of apps such as Google Maps or Waze for navigation, with real-time traffic information and route guidance. With music apps such as Apple Music, Spotify or YouTube Music, you can stream music or podcasts while driving. You can manage calls and messages via voice control with Siri. Apple CarPlay is available for MINI models with a MINI Controller and MINI system with a menu with displays in the form of tiles (ID6) and the option "Connected Navigation" (SA 7GH), "Connected Navigation Plus" (SA 7GK) or "smartphone integration" (SA 6CP) ex works. In MINI models with MINI Operating System 9, Apple CarPlay is part of the basic equipment (MINI Connected Base).
