How do I switch from Apple CarPlay to MINI apps and functions in my MINI with a MINI Controller?

Depending on the model and equipment of your MINI with a MINI Controller and MINI system with displays in the form of tiles (ID6), you can display and operate the apps of your compatible Apple iPhone with Apple CarPlay on the central instrument. To use MINI apps and functions, you must exit Apple CarPlay. To do this, select the Home icon on the central instrument. Apple CarPlay remains active in the background and can be selected again using the Apple CarPlay icon in the menu bar. Alternatively, you can temporarily deactivate Apple CarPlay in the "Mobile devices" menu, e.g. to use your iPhone without Apple CarPlay.
