How do I operate the apps of my connected iPhone with Apple CarPlay in my MINI with Operating System 9?

Depending on the model and equipment of your MINI with Operating System 9, the content of your iPhone apps is shown via Apple CarPlay in the MINI Interaction Unit and in the MINI Head-up Display. It is operated by voice via Siri, the touch function of the MINI Interaction Unit or the buttons on the multifunction steering wheel.

Apple CarPlay is available for MINI models with a MINI Controller and MINI system with a menu with displays in the form of tiles (ID6) and the option "Connected Navigation" (SA 7GH), "Connected Navigation Plus" (SA 7GK) or "smartphone integration" (SA 6CP) ex works. In MINI models with MINI Operating System 9, Apple CarPlay is part of the basic equipment (MINI Connected Base). You need an iPhone 5 or newer.
