Can I display e-mails from my iPhone via Apple CarPlay on the central instrument of my MINI with a MINI Controller?

No. It is not possible to display e-mails from your iPhone via Apple CarPlay on the central instrument of your MINI with a MINI Controller and MINI system with a menu with displays in the form of tiles (ID6). For an overview of all available apps, visit: www.apple.com/ios/carplay/. Please note: MINI only supports the interface between the vehicle and the iPhone in Apple CarPlay connection mode, but has no influence on content or functions.

 

Apple CarPlay is available for MINI models with a MINI Controller and MINI system with a menu with displays in the form of tiles (ID6) and the option "Connected Navigation" (SA 7GH), "Connected Navigation Plus" (SA 7GK) or "smartphone integration" (SA 6CP) ex works. In MINI models with MINI Operating System 9, Apple CarPlay is part of the basic equipment (MINI Connected Base). You need an iPhone 5 or newer.
