How do I operate the apps of my connected iPhone with Apple CarPlay in my MINI with a MINI Controller?

Depending on the model and equipment of your MINI with a MINI Controller and MINI system with a menu with displays in the form of tiles (ID6), the content of your iPhone apps is shown via Apple CarPlay on the central instrument and in the MINI Head-up Display. Operation is by voice using Siri, the touch function of the central instrument or the buttons on the multifunction steering wheel.

Apple CarPlay is available for MINI models with a MINI Controller and MINI system with a menu with displays in the form of tiles (ID6) and the option "Connected Navigation" (SA 7GH), "Connected Navigation Plus" (SA 7GK) or "smartphone integration" (SA 6CP) ex works. In MINI models with MINI Operating System 9, Apple CarPlay is part of the basic equipment (MINI Connected Base). You need an iPhone 5 or newer.
