How do I activate Siri in my MINI with Operating System 9?

Depending on the model and equipment of your Apple iPhone and your MINI with Operating System 9, you can control the apps of your iPhone by voice with Siri as part of Apple CarPlay. Connect your iPhone via Apple CarPlay and activate Siri with the activation word "Hey Siri" or by pressing and holding the microphone button on the steering wheel of your MINI.

 

Apple CarPlay is available for MINI models with a MINI Controller and MINI system with a menu with displays in the form of tiles (ID6) and the option "Connected Navigation" (SA 7GH), "Connected Navigation Plus" (SA 7GK) or "smartphone integration" (SA 6CP) ex works. In MINI models with MINI Operating System 9, Apple CarPlay is part of the basic equipment (MINI Connected Base).
