How do I activate a shared MINI Digital Key Plus for my MINI with Operating System 9?

The main user of a MINI Digital Key Plus for a MINI with Operating System 9 can use it on several devices and share it with other people. As a receiver, you need a compatible smartphone and you must confirm an activation code from the main user once in the vehicle or on the smartphone. To activate automatic driver recognition, select the following on the MINI Interaction Unit: "MINI ID" (profile icon in the status field at the top right) > "Profile settings" > "Driver recognition". Follow the instructions and select the desired physical key or a smartphone for the MINI Digital Key Plus.
