MINI how-to guide: This is how you activate or deactivate Assisted View in your MINI with Operating System 9.

Assisted View in your MINI with Operating System 9 shows you information on driver assistance systems on the MINI Interaction Unit and, depending on the equipment, in the MINI Head-up Display with the aid of an animated vehicle depiction.

Requirements:

  • Your MINI with Operating System 9 requires the option "Driving Assistant Plus" (SA 5AT) or "Driving Assistant Professional" (SA 5AU).

Important notes:

  • Assisted View only takes into account objects that the system detects.
  • The system uses your vehicle's cameras and radar sensors.
  • The system does not relieve you from your responsibility to assess the traffic situation correctly. Due to system limits, the system cannot react appropriately in all traffic situations. There is risk of accident, danger of injury and danger of property damage. Adapt your driving style to the traffic conditions, observe the traffic situation and remain ready to steer and brake at all times so that you can actively intervene if necessary.

The availability, operating principle and system limits vary depending on the country of delivery, model and equipment of your MINI.

Step 1:
Press the direct access button "Driving settings menu" in the control centre.

Alternatively, select the following in the MINI system: Apps menu > "VEHICLE" (menu bar at the top) > "Driving settings".


Step 2:
Select "Driver assistance".

Step 3:
Select "Drive".

 

Step 4:
Select "Assisted View".

 

Step 5:

Activate or deactivate whether driver assistance information should be displayed in the foreground in front of other content.
