MINI how-to guide: This is how you set a desired speed for the Cruise Control in your MINI with Operating System 9.

Requirements:

• Cruise Control is part of the standard equipment (MINI Connected Base) of your MINI with Operating System 9.

Important notes:

• If you press and hold the rocker button to the resistance point, the vehicle accelerates or decelerates without pressing the accelerator pedal. After releasing the rocker button, the reached speed is maintained. When pressing beyond the resistance point, the vehicle accelerates or decelerates even more.
• With Speed Limit Assist (available depending on the equipment), you can adopt a suggested speed by pressing the "SET" button.
• With Cruise Control with Distance Control (available depending on the equipment), the system maintains a distance to the vehicle in front in addition to the speed.
• When the Cruise Control is switched on, the drive mode may be changed or the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) activated.
• Depending on the vehicle setting, the characteristics of the Cruise Control may change in certain areas, e.g. acceleration may differ depending on the drive mode.
• The system does not relieve you from your responsibility to assess the traffic situation correctly. Due to system limits, the system cannot react appropriately in all traffic situations. There is risk of accident, danger of injury and danger of property damage. Adapt your driving style to the traffic conditions, observe the traffic situation and remain ready to steer and brake at all times so that you can actively intervene if necessary.

System limits:

• You can activate the Cruise Control from 30 km/h.
• The maximum speed that can be set varies depending on the country of delivery, model and equipment.
