How do I deactivate Distance Control in my MINI with Operating System 9?

Distance Control allows you to set a distance to a vehicle in front in addition to Cruise Control. To deactivate Distance Control in your MINI with Operating System 9, press the "MODE" button on the steering wheel repeatedly until Distance Control is selected and then press the "I/0" button on the steering wheel. Distance Control in your MINI is also interrupted when the brake pedal is pressed. Pressing the "I/0" button again reactivates the function. Please note: Your MINI with Operating System 9 requires the option "Driving Assistant Plus" (SA 5AT) or "Driving Assistant Professional" (SA 5AU).
