Certain driver assistance systems in your MINI with Operating System 9 give you additional tactile or visual feedback at the steering wheel to reinforce the system's warning function or provide a supporting impulse. You can change the settings for feedback at the steering wheel.
Requirements:
- In your MINI with Operating System 9, you will receive feedback at the steering wheel.
- For certain driver assistance systems, your MINI with Operating System 9 requires optional equipment ex works.
Important notes:
- You can set feedback at the steering wheel for the following driver assistance systems:
- Lane Change Warning
- Lane Departure Warning (availability varies depending on country of delivery)
- Assisted Driving Mode (with SA 5AU)
- Side Collision Warning (with SA 5AU)
- You can only set the vibration level of the steering wheel ("Strong", "Medium" or "Weak") for all collision warning systems together.
- You can switch the "light elements" on the steering wheel for Assisted Driving Mode on or off.
- You can switch the steering wheel impulse for the driver assistance system "Lane change with active route guidance" on or off: Driving settings button > "Driver assistance" > "Driving" > "Actively follow the route" > "Steering wheel impulse".
