MINI how-to guide: This is how you automatically adapt the speed of your MINI to the route with Operating System 9.

Requirements:

• Your MINI with Operating System 9 requires the option "Driving Assistant Plus" (SA 5AT) or "Driving Assistant Professional" (SA 5AU).
• The assistance systems "Cruise Control" and "Distance Control" must be active in your MINI.
• You are driving on a motorway or similar road.
• Route guidance must be active in your MINI with navigation system.
• The function must be available in the country you are travelling to.

Important notes:

• When using navigation software via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, there may be functional limitations.
• The system does not relieve you from your responsibility to assess the traffic situation correctly. Due to system limits, the system cannot react appropriately in all traffic situations. There is risk of accident, danger of injury and danger of property damage. Adapt your driving style to the traffic conditions, observe the traffic situation and remain ready to steer and brake at all times so that you can actively intervene if necessary.

System limits:

• The system does not react or reacts to a limited extent to the route layout:
  • If the position of your vehicle cannot be clearly determined by the navigation system.
  • On wintry roads.
• The limits of the Cruise Control, Distance Control, Assisted Driving Mode and Speed Limit Assist systems also apply.

The availability, range of functions and operating principle vary depending on the country of delivery and the equipment of your MINI.
