What is the Boost function in my MINI with Operating System 9?

With the Boost function, all relevant systems of your MINI with Operating System 9 are immediately set to maximum sportiness. To activate the Boost function, pull the left-hand shift paddle on the steering wheel in your MINI. A countdown is then displayed in the MINI Interaction Unit. Press the accelerator pedal before the countdown has elapsed. The vehicle accelerates and BOOST is displayed in the MINI Interaction Unit. The countdown can be restarted, e.g. if the function cannot be used immediately. To restart the countdown, pull and hold the left-hand shift paddle again until the countdown is reset. The function is automatically interrupted when the countdown has elapsed or the function has been used in the acceleration process. To deactivate the function, pull and hold the right-hand shift paddle until the BOOST indicator goes out.
