The Efficiency Coach in your MINI with Operating System 9 supports a predictive and comfort-oriented driving style and uses map information and sensor data to analyse the current driving situation, e.g. for the vehicles ahead. Based on the information used, the driver receives early tips for an efficient driving style. The system features various displays to assist the driver in driving efficiently. When Green Mode is activated, the display on the Interaction Unit switches to the mode-specific Green Mode view. Additionally, displays of the Efficiency Coach can be found in the full screen view and in the minimal view. The efficient range of the power display is coloured green. In addition, the bonus range is displayed. Depending on the driving situation, the bonus range and an animal symbol for efficient driving style are displayed. If the power display is within the green range, the current driving style is efficient. If driving is inefficient, the display turns red and the animal symbols change.
