What makes MINI vehicles so efficient?

MINI relies on innovative drive technologies in vehicle development, such as plug-in hybrid, eDrive, hydrogen drive or 48V mild hybrid technology. With the MINIMALISM package, innovative technologies for reducing energy consumption and emissions are part of the basic equipment of each MINI model. The intelligent lightweight technology uses particularly lightweight materials (e.g. carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic) to reduce the overall weight of the vehicle. With model-specific aerodynamics measures, e.g. in the front of the vehicle, underbody and rear as well as with Air Performance wheels, the drag coefficient (Cd) is reduced.
