Yes. The warranty for the loss of capacity of the high-voltage battery, is linked to the vehicle identification number (VIN). The warranty obligation for the high-voltage battery remains unaffected by a change of ownership – regardless of whether you have bought the vehicle second-hand or want to sell it on.
