Does the BMW Group offer vegan alternatives to leather trims?

Yes. Since 2023, the BMW Group has been offering completely vegan interiors for selected models. This is made possible above all by the development of innovative materials with leather-like properties. By avoiding leather, around 85 percent of the CO2 emissions along the value chain are saved for the relevant interior components – while maintaining the same quality experience.
