MINI how-to guide: This is how you set a system language supported by the Intelligent Personal Assistant in your MINI with Operating System 9.

Requirements:

• The basic functions of the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant are part of the basic digital functions (MINI Connected Base) of your MINI with Operating System 9.
• For the full range of functions, you need a MINI Connected package from the MINI Connected Store, you must be logged in to the vehicle with your MINI ID and the software of your MINI must be up to date.

Important notes:

• You can currently use the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant in the local language in the following countries of delivery: Abu Dhabi, Andorra, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Canada (English, French), China, Dubai, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macau, Mexico, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Oman, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, USA.
• In other countries of delivery, the range of functions of the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant is available in the local language to a limited extent or in English.
• In the countries of delivery Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant with software version from 11/2025 will only be available in English (USA).
• If Portugal is the country of delivery, the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant will no longer be available in the national language with a software version from 11/2025.
• The system includes special microphones on the driver's and passenger's side and in the rear.
• Keep doors, windows and the glass sunroof closed for optimum communication and avoid background noise.
• Always speak the commands in the set system language, fluently and with normal volume, emphasis and speed from your natural sitting position. Avoid multiple people speaking simultaneously during voice input.
• You can have a selection of possible commands read out using the "Example commands" command.
• The Intelligent Personal Assistant widget in the MINI Interaction Unit shows example commands for the current context.
• Strong dialects can cause problems with speech recognition.

Depending on the country of delivery and the equipment of your MINI, the availability, range of functions and operating principle of the Intelligent Personal Assistant may vary.
