In addition, the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant answers questions about the operating condition of your MINI. Possible voice commands for entertainment are: "I want to keep listening to the audio book!", "What song is that?". For navigation: "Drive to the next charging station!" or "Are there any traffic reports on my route?". For points of interest: "Where can I spend the night?" or "I'm hungry!". For telephony: "Connect my smartphone!" or "Show phone book!". Voice commands for the operating condition "What is the tyre pressure?" or "When does my vehicle need servicing?". Depending on the model and country of delivery, you can also control selected Amazon Alexa functions in your MINI with Operating System 9 and the MINI Connected package using the activation word "Hey MINI!". Please note: To use the full range of functions, you must be logged in to your vehicle with your MINI ID and activate the options "online speech processing", "Activation by 'Hey MINI'" and "Data analysis" in the "Personal Assistant" menu.
The basic functions of the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant are part of the basic digital functions (MINI Connected Base) of your MINI with Operating System 9. The software of your MINI must be up to date. After a Remote Software Upgrade to version 2024-11 or newer, you must set up the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant again.
