Do I have to set up the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant in my new MINI with Operating System 9 once?

No. In your MINI with Operating System 9, the basic functionality of the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant is already set up ex works and can be activated via the microphone button on the steering wheel. To use the full range of functions of the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant, you must be logged in with your MINI ID and activate the following settings: "Online speech processing", "Visualisation", "Activation by 'Hey MINI'" and "Learning personal preferences". For this, select the following in the MINI system: Apps menu > "All apps" > "Personal Assistant" > "Settings". Please note: After a Remote Software Upgrade to version 2024-11 or newer, you must set up the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant again.

 

The basic functions of the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant are part of the basic digital functions (MINI Connected Base) of your MINI with Operating System 9. For the full range of functions, you need a MINI Connected package from the MINI Connected Store. The range of functions may vary depending on the country of delivery.
