How does the tyre repair kit Plus work?

The tyre repair kit Plus is a battery-operated device that is attached magnetically and positively to the wheel centre. Using a hose, it pumps tyre sealant and air into the tyre when stationary and while driving. The sealant seals the damage from the inside as it hardens, allowing you to continue driving quickly and comfortably for up to 200 km at a maximum speed of 80 km/h. After use, contact your MINI Service Partner or a specialist workshop immediately to have the tyre repair kit Plus removed and the defective tyre replaced. Observe the Safety Information in the Owner's Handbook in the MINI system of your vehicle or in the MINI Driver's Guide app.
