Does the tyre repair kit Plus need to be charged regularly?

Yes. The rechargeable battery of the tyre repair kit Plus is subject to system-related self-discharge, even when switched off. Check the state of charge of the tyre repair kit Plus regularly, at least every two years. To check the state of charge, press the switch next to the USB port on the rear side of the device. The LED integrated in the switch lights up green when the state of charge is sufficient and red when the state of charge is no longer sufficient. To charge the tyre repair kit Plus, you must connect the device to a suitable current source via a USB-C cable. Observe the Safety Information in the Owner's Handbook in the MINI system of your vehicle or in the MINI Driver's Guide app.
