Before you can attach the tyre repair kit Plus, you must first unwind the inflation hose. Then unscrew the valve cap from the wheel and screw the inflation hose connecting piece clockwise onto the tyre valve. To attach the tyre repair kit Plus, insert the magnetic feet into the holes in the wheel bolts at the wheel centre and the guide pins into the small holes between the wheel bolts. Press the device into the holes as far as it will go until you hear a magnetic connection to the wheel bolts. Switch on the tyre repair kit Plus. Read the current tyre pressure on the control display in the vehicle. This must be at least 1.0 bar to allow the vehicle to continue driving. If a minimum tyre inflation pressure of 1.0 bar is not reached, it is not possible to continue driving. The tyre repair kit Plus switches off automatically when a tyre inflation pressure of 2.0 bar is reached. If the tyre pressure drops again, the tyre repair kit Plus automatically pumps up the pressure. Continue driving at a moderate pace and do not exceed the maximum speed of 80 km/h or the maximum driving distance of 200 km.
After use, contact your MINI Service Partner or a specialist workshop immediately to have the tyre repair kit Plus removed and the defective tyre replaced. Please note: If the tyre inflation pressure does not reach the minimum inflation pressure of 1.0 bar before the journey or falls below 1.0 bar during the journey, do not continue driving. The tyre repair kit Plus must be replaced after a single use and is not reusable. Dispose of the tyre repair kit Plus at your MINI Service Partner. Observe the Safety Information in the Owner's Handbook in the MINI system of your vehicle or in the MINI Driver's Guide app.
