What advantages does the Digital Key Plus offer in the MINI Aceman (2024)?

The Digital Key Plus is a digital vehicle key on your compatible smartphone from Apple, Google and Samsung or your Apple Watch that allows you to conveniently and safely unlock or lock and start your MINI Aceman (2024). The BMW Digital Key Plus unlocks your vehicle automatically as you approach, without you having to take your smartphone out of your pocket. Using "ultra-wideband" (UWB) mobile technology, your MINI detects where you are approaching and how far you are. As soon as you come within a distance of approximately three metres, your MINI begins to wake up and indicates this by a welcome scenario using the exterior and interior lighting. When you get in, the personal settings for your driver profile (MINI ID) are loaded and your smartphone is connected via Bluetooth®. The welcome screen of the central instrument ("MINI Interaction Unit") provides suggestions for activating or setting up services as well as information on vehicle functions or available upgrades. Please note: Your vehicle requires the option "Comfort Access" (SA 322) ex works. Depending on the country of delivery, the digital key with a limited range of functions is available as an alternative.
