Which functions of the MINI App can I use as the main user of a MINI with Operating System 9?

In MINI models with Operating System 9, one main user and up to six co-users can add the vehicle to their MINI IDs in the MINI App. The MINI ID that first adds the vehicle in the MINI App is the main user. All other MINI IDs are co-users of the vehicle with limited rights.

 

The following functions are only available to the main user:

  • The management of other users.
  • Setting up and sharing a MINI Digital Key.
  • Booking MINI Connected Upgrades in the MINI Connected Store.
  • Changing the preferred MINI Service Partner.
  • Changing certain privacy settings.
