Can I delete the recordings of the anti-theft recorder in my MINI with Operating System 9 in the MINI App?

Depending on the country of delivery, model and equipment, your MINI with Operating System 9 has the "anti-theft recorder" function as part of the "MINI Drive Recorder" vehicle app. As soon as the tilt alarm sensor or the interior motion detector are triggered, you will receive a notification via the MINI App and can access the images from the exterior cameras and the interior camera of your MINI. You can delete the notification in the MINI App. The recording is only deleted in the MINI App after a few weeks so that you can still access it if necessary, e.g. if you only realise something has been stolen later.

 

Available for MINI models with MINI Operating System 9 and the option "MINI Drive Recorder" (SA 5DR) ex works. For the "anti-theft recorder (internal)", your MINI also requires the option "interior camera" (SA 4NR).
