How do I check in the MINI App whether I can charge my MINI electric vehicle with MINI Operating System 9 with "Plug & Charge" at public charging stations?

With Plug & Charge, your MINI electric vehicle authenticates itself independently at public charging stations via your charging contract stored in the vehicle. The charging process starts automatically after inserting the charging cable. To check the availability for your MINI electric vehicle in the MINI App, select: "Vehicle" (tab) > "Charging" > "Plug & Charge" ("Preferences"). You can see the availability of "Plug & Charge" at a selected charging station in the information on the charging station below the map.

 

The "Plug & Charge" function is available for MINI electric vehicles with MINI Operating System 9. The charging station and your charging contract must support the "Plug & Charge" function.
