How do I plan a route optimised for charging for my MINI electric vehicle in the MINI App?

You can plan a route optimised for charging for your MINI electric vehicle in the MINI App. In the "Map" (tab), select a destination and "Show route". If the destination is out of range, the MINI App suggests time-optimised charging stops along the route. In the "route plan", you can "add stops" (up to ten stops, e.g. charging stations), "replace individual charging stations" and set a departure time and the state of charge on departure. In the "route settings" (route configuration), you can define avoidance criteria (motorways, toll roads, ferries, vignette roads) and the minimum state of charge for all charging stations en route and at the destination. If you activate the "private charging" option for your saved favourites "home" and "work", the minimum state of charge set at the destination for these two addresses will not be taken into account. At the bottom of the page, you can set your preferences for "Provider & Operator". Once you have saved your changes, you can send the destination to your MINI with all the intermediate destinations on the route. Please note: The calculated route is a current estimate and may vary in the vehicle depending on traffic, road and weather conditions at the time of departure.
