MINI how-to guide: This is how you send a destination to your MINI in the MINI App.

You can use the MINI App to search for a point of interest or an address and send it to your MINI. You can go to the received destination in the navigation system of your MINI and start route guidance.

Requirements:

  • Your MINI (from 04/2018) with a MINI Controller and MINI system with a menu with displays in the form of tiles (ID6) requires the option "Connected Navigation / Plus" (SA 7GH/7GK).
  • You must be logged in to your MINI with MINI Operating System 9 with your MINI ID.
  • Your MINI must be added to your MINI ID in the MINI App.

Important notes:

  • The destination is sent to the active vehicle in the MINI App.
  • You can also send destinations from selected other apps (currently: Apple Maps, Google Maps) to your MINI.
  • The route is recalculated in the navigation system of your MINI based on your route criteria and the current traffic situation and may therefore differ from the route displayed in the MINI App.
  • Your MINI requires a mobile connection. Avoid places with poor mobile phone reception, such as underground car parks.

Step 1:
Open the "Map" tab in the MINI App.

Step 2:
Search for a destination using the free text search or select a destination in "Favourites" or "Sent".

Step 3:
Select "Send to my MINI".

 

The destination is sent to the active vehicle.
