Depending on the equipment of your MINI with MINI Operating System 9 and your smartphone, you can use the "Remote Control Parking" function of the MINI App to remotely park your MINI forwards or backwards or leave suitable parking spaces.
For parallel parking, the minimum length of the space between two objects must be 0.8 m longer than your vehicle and at least approx. 1.5 m deep.
For bay parking, a detected object (e.g. a parked vehicle) must be at least approx. 1 m long and the parking space must be approx. 0.7 m wider than your vehicle. The minimum depth corresponds to the length of your vehicle.
Remote Control Parking is available in the MINI App for MINI models with MINI Operating System 9 with the equipment "Parking Assistant Professional" (SA 5DW) as a MINI Connected Upgrade from the MINI Connected Store. Remote Services must be booked and activated and you must have set up a MINI Digital Key Plus.
