What are the benefits of the Remote Service "Prepare battery" in the MINI App in my MINI with Operating System 9?

The charging time of the high-voltage battery of your all-electric MINI with Operating System 9 depends, among other things, on the current battery temperature. Depending on the model and equipment, you can start the battery preparation for faster DC charging via the Remote Service "Prepare battery" in the MINI App. This makes it possible to bring the high-voltage battery to an optimum temperature for maximum charging power and thus reduce the charging time.

The "Prepare battery” Remote Service is available in the MINI App for all-electric MINI models with software version 07/2024 or newer.
