Which parking manoeuvres can I perform outside my MINI with Operating System 9 via the MINI App?

With the "Remote Control Parking" function of the MINI App, you can park your MINI and leave parking spaces remotely. The Parking Assistant automatically performs parking manoeuvres in parallel or perpendicular parking spaces. The Manoeuvre Assistant provides you with even more comprehensive support: It automatically takes over the complete driving task for up to 10 stored manoeuvring routes, including accelerating, braking, steering and switching between forward and reverse gear. Please note: To perform a parking manoeuvre from outside your MINI using the MINI App, you must be within 6 metres of your vehicle. You remain responsible for constantly monitoring traffic during automated parking and manoeuvring and must be able to intervene at any time.

 

Your MINI, your smartphone and your country must support data transfer of the MINI Digital Key Plus via "ultra-wideband" (UWB):

 

Compatible MINI models

Available for MINI models with MINI Operating System 9 with the option "Comfort Access" (SA 322) ex works. Remote Services must be booked and activated and you must have set up a MINI Digital Key Plus.

Compatible smartphones

Available for iPhone with iOS 16.2 or newer and Android smartphones with Android 14 or newer. You need the latest version of the MINI App on your smartphone and Bluetooth® must be activated.
