Depending on the country of delivery and equipment of your MINI, you can start the engine in the MINI App using the Remote Service "Remote Engine Start". The engine start is used to air-condition the passenger area for a maximum of 15 minutes before starting the journey. It is not possible to drive without the vehicle key or MINI Digital Key in the vehicle interior. Your MINI requires Operating System 9, the option "automatic air conditioning" (SA 534) and the "Remote Engine Start" function as a MINI Connected Upgrade in the MINI Connected Store. Only available for model variants with petrol engine and automatic transmission. Cannot be combined with the option "pre-heating" (SA 536). Please note: Due to legal requirements, the "Remote Engine Start" is currently only available in the following countries: Australia, Canada, China, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, USA.
