Is a new Remote Software Upgrade for my MINI with MINI Operating System 9 automatically downloaded to my smartphone via the MINI App?

If a Remote Software Upgrade is available for your MINI with MINI Operating System 9, you will receive a notification in the MINI App. To download an available Remote Software Upgrade to your smartphone or install it in your MINI, select the following in the MINI App: "Vehicle" (tab) > "Check status" > "Remote Software Upgrade" ("Software" section). To automatically download available Remote Software Upgrades to your smartphone, select: "Vehicle" (tab) > "Vehicle configuration" (Vehicle control centre) > "Software update settings".

 

The "Remote Software Upgrade" service is available for MINI models with MINI Operating System 9.
