With the integration of Siri and iOS Shortcuts, you can control selected functions in your MINI quickly and conveniently via voice commands or using various iOS operating elements.
There are several ways to operate your vehicle:
- by voice command by speaking "Hey Siri" (iPhone and Apple Watch)
- using the Shortcuts app for individually submitted sequences
- using the Control Centre
- using the Action Button (depending on the model)
The following range of vehicle functions is currently available:
- Climate control: Start your vehicle's climate control conveniently from a distance.
- Open the boot: Open the boot using a voice command or a Shortcut, available on selected vehicle models with Digital Key Plus.
This allows you to control important vehicle functions quickly and hands-free, even without opening the MINI App.

The range of functions might vary depending on the vehicle model, equipment and availability of the Digital Key.
