With which mobile devices can I use Apple CarPlay in my MINI with a MINI Controller?

Depending on the model and equipment of your Apple iPhone and your MINI with a MINI Controller and MINI system with a menu with displays in the form of tiles (ID6), you can display and operate your apps with Apple CarPlay on the central instrument. You need a compatible iPhone (from iPhone 5 with iOS 9.3 or higher) with an active data account and 5 GHz Wi-Fi support. Other mobile devices, such as the Apple iPad, do not support Apple CarPlay. Please note: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® must be activated on your iPhone. The BMW Group has no influence on mobile device compatibility and available functions.
