With the "Drive Recorder" vehicle app, you can record videos manually or automatically via the cameras of your MINI with Operating System 9 and play them back on the MINI Interaction Unit or export them. If your MINI detects an accident situation, the Drive Recorder saves a 360° video recording including the date, the exact time, your driven speed and the GPS position via the cameras of the assistance systems. You can also capture beautiful moments on the road with the Drive Recorder, e.g. particularly impressive landscapes or a section on the racetrack. Depending on the model and equipment of your MINI, the Drive Recorder also includes the "anti-theft recorder". Please note: The Drive Recorder is only active when the engine is running.
Available for MINI models with MINI Operating System 9 and the option "Parking Assistant Plus" (SA 5DN) or "Parking Assistant Professional" (SA 5DW) ex works. For the "anti-theft recorder (external)", your MINI also requires the option "anti-theft alarm system" (SA 302) ex works. For the "anti-theft recorder (internal)", your MINI also requires the option "interior camera" (SA 4NR). Availability and range of functions may vary depending on the legal regulations in the country of delivery and the country of travel.
