With the "Drive Recorder" vehicle app, the exterior cameras of your MINI with Operating System 9 create a video of the surroundings in a 360° view. The date, exact time, speed and GPS position are stored for each recording. The recording by the Drive Recorder can be started manually or automatically. Saved recordings can be played back on the MINI Interaction Unit and exported to a USB stick or, depending on the model and equipment of your MINI, to your smartphone. Depending on the model and equipment of your MINI, the Drive Recorder also includes the "anti-theft recorder".
Available for MINI models with MINI Operating System 9 and the option "Parking Assistant Plus" (SA 5DN) or "Parking Assistant Professional" (SA 5DW) ex works. For the "anti-theft recorder (external)", your MINI also requires the option "anti-theft alarm system" (SA 302) ex works. For the "anti-theft recorder (internal)", your MINI also requires the option "interior camera" (SA 4NR). Availability and range of functions may vary depending on the legal regulations in the country of delivery and the country of travel.
