How do I manually start a recording of the Drive Recorder in my MINI with Operating System 9?

With the "Drive Recorder" vehicle app, you can record videos manually or automatically via the cameras of your MINI with Operating System 9 and play them back on the MINI Interaction Unit or export them. To start a recording of the Drive Recorder manually, press and hold the Parking Assist button in the control centre of your MINI or select the following on the MINI Interaction Unit: Apps menu > "All" > "Drive Recorder" > "Start recording" > "Vehicle". Please note: To start a recording manually, you must "Allow recordings", save settings for "Recording type" and "Recording duration" and your MINI must be operational or in the drive-ready state.

 

Available for MINI models with MINI Operating System 9 and the option "Parking Assistant Plus" (SA 5DN) or "Parking Assistant Professional" (SA 5DW) ex works. Availability and range of functions may vary depending on the legal regulations in the country of delivery and the country of travel.
