Do I have to activate the "Remote Engine Start" function in my MINI with Operating System 9 after a MINI Connected Upgrade?

Yes. If you have booked the "Remote Engine Start" vehicle function for your MINI with Operating System 9 as a MINI Connected Upgrade, you must activate the function once in the MINI App or by locking three times with your vehicle key. Please note: The engine start is used to air-condition the passenger area for a maximum of 15 minutes before starting the journey. It is not possible to drive without the vehicle key or MINI Digital Key in the vehicle interior.
