How do I activate a shared MINI Digital Key of my MINI Cooper (2024)?

The main user of a MINI Digital Key or MINI Digital Key Plus can share it with up to 5 persons. As a recipient, you need a compatible smartphone and must confirm an activation link received by text message from the main user and enter an activation code received from the main user. The shared key is then transferred to the Wallet app of your smartphone. The shared key can be linked to a MINI ID or a driver profile in the vehicle menu "Key".
