Does the average consumption of my MINI Cooper Convertible increase when driving with the top down?

Driving with the top down increases the drag coefficient (Cd value). This increases fuel consumption compared to driving with the top closed at the same speed. Depending on the speed, fuel consumption can increase by up to 15 percent.
