What are the benefits of the roll-over protection system in my MINI Cooper Convertible (from 11/2024)?

The roll-over protection system in your MINI Cooper Convertible (from 11/2024) is automatically activated in the event of an accident of corresponding severity or if the vehicle is tilted extremely along its longitudinal axis. The safety bars located behind the rear head restraints extend within fractions of a second. In addition to the reinforced windscreen frame, the roll-over protection system increases safety for the passengers. Please note: Do not place any objects on the covers of the roll-over protection system behind the rear head restraints.
