How do I unlock and lock my MINI Countryman (2023) with the Digital Key or Digital Key Plus on my smartphone?

Depending on the country of delivery, equipment and mobile end device, you can unlock or lock your MINI Countryman (2023) with the MINI Digital Key or the MINI Digital Key Plus on your compatible smartphone or your Apple Watch. Unlocking activates all functions for starting the vehicle. While the MINI Digital Key uses the "Near Field Communication" (NFC) mobile standard, data is transferred with the MINI Digital Key Plus via "ultra-wideband" (UWB) and Bluetooth®. To unlock or lock your vehicle with the MINI Digital Key, you must hold your mobile device to the door handle. The MINI Digital Key Plus automatically unlocks your vehicle when you approach and starts a welcome scenario.
