What can I do if the charging process for my fully electric MINI Countryman (2023) does not start with the Mode 2 cable?

If the charging process for your fully electric MINI Countryman (2023) does not start with the "Mode 2 cable" and the red "Fault" indicator light flashes three times with pauses, first disconnect the vehicle charging plug from the vehicle charging socket. Then unplug the mains plug of the charging unit from the socket and wait at least five seconds. Plug the mains plug back into the socket and wait until the "Power" indicator light on the charging unit lights up continuously. Plug the vehicle charging plug back into the vehicle charging socket. The charging process starts automatically. If the red "Fault" indicator light flashes continuously, refer to the operating instructions for further causes and possible solutions for malfunctions. If problems persist, contact the manufacturer. Please note: Protect the charging unit of the Aptiv Mode 2 cable from direct sunlight and overheating.
